Removal [11/2017 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2017 - 09/2020] , or refer to PRECAUTION [09/2020 - ]

  2. CHANGE POWER TILT AND POWER TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM SETTINGS (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2018 - 09/2020] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [09/2020 - 10/2022]

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [10/2018 - 11/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2019 - 10/2022]

  5. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [10/2018 - 11/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [11/2019 - 10/2022]

  6. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [10/2018 - 11/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [11/2019 - 10/2022]

  7. REMOVE METER HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [10/2018 - 11/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [11/2019 - 10/2022]

  8. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [11/2017 - 10/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [10/2018 - 11/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [11/2019 - 10/2022]

  9. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Pull the multi-display assembly with bracket as shown in the illustration to disengage the 4 clips.

    3. Disconnect each connector and remove the multi-display assembly with bracket.

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 MULTI-DISPLAY BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and No. 1 multi-display bracket.

  11. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY
