NOTE:
- When installing the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly and steering wheel, be sure to adjust the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly as it may break if the steering wheel is turned before adjusting the spiral with sensor cable sub-assembly.

- After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal while performing repairs, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

- After replacing the airbag ECU assembly, refer to initialization.

HINT:
To perform the simulation method, enter check mode (signal check) with the Techstream (Refer to CHECK MODE PROCEDURE [10/2014 - ] ), and then wiggle each connector of the airbag system or drive the vehicle on various types of road (Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2014 - ] ).
