DTC B2414: Steering Position Sensor Malfunction [10/2014 - 09/2017]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - 09/2017]

   Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs 

   Result

1. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - 09/2017]

   Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Proceed to
   DTC B2414 output does not occur
   DTC B2414 output occurs

Result: 

DTC B2414 output does not occur 

USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2014 - 09/2017] 

Result: 

DTC B2414 output occurs

1. Temporarily replace the steering sensor with a new or normally functioning one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ]

   Result

   Proceed to

1. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
2. Inspect the light using the dimmer switch.
3. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - 09/2017]

   Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Trouble Codes

   DTC B2414 output does not occur
   DTC B2414 output occurs

REPLACE HEADLIGHT LIGHT CONTROL ECU SUB-ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2014 - 09/2017]
