Pattern Select Switch Sport Mode Circuit [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Remove the integration control & panel assembly (pattern select switch).

   *1	Integration Control & Panel Assembly (pattern select switch)

   Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - 09/2017] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2017 - ]

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   7 (P) - 1 (GND)	Pattern select switch being turned and held at SPORT position	Below 1 Ω
   7 (P) - 1 (GND)	Pattern select switch not turned	10 kΩ or higher
   8 (B) - 1 (GND)	Pattern select switch being pushed and held	Below 1 Ω
   8 (B) - 1 (GND)	Pattern select switch not pushed	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE INTEGRATION CONTROL & PANEL ASSEMBLY (PATTERN SELECT SWITCH). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2014 - 09/2017]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2017 - ]

1. Disconnect the integration control & panel assembly (pattern select switch) connector.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   I66-1 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

   A35-36 (PWMS) - Body ground	Pattern select switch being turned and held at SPORT position	Below 1 Ω
   A35-36 (PWMS) - Body ground	Pattern select switch not turned	10 kΩ or higher
   A35-39 (SPCN) - Body ground	Pattern select switch being pushed and held	Below 1 Ω
   A35-39 (SPCN) - Body ground	Pattern select switch not pushed	10 kΩ or higher
