DTC P0740-7F: Torque Converter Clutch Actuator Stuck Off [09/2015 - ]: Procedure
- CHECK OTHER DTCS OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC P0740-7F)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Transmission / Trouble Codes.
Powertrain > Transmission > Trouble Codes
- Read the DTCs using the Techstream.

Result Proceed to Only DTC P0740-7F is output A P0740-7F and other DTCs are output B HINT:
If any other codes besides P0740-7F are output, perform the troubleshooting for those DTCs first.

- Remove shift solenoid valve SL.

- Apply 12 V battery voltage to the shift solenoid valve and check that the valve moves and makes an operating noise.
