DTC P0710-00: Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor "A" Circuit Range/Performance [10/2014 - 09/2016]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Transmission / Trouble Codes.

   Powertrain > Transmission > Trouble Codes 

5. Read the DTCs using the Techstream.

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   Only DTC P0710-00 is output	A
   P0710-00 and other DTCs are output	B

   HINT: 

   If any DTCs other than P0710-00 are output, perform troubleshooting for those DTCs first.

GO TO DTC CHART. Refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [10/2014 - 09/2015]  , or refer to  DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [09/2015 - 09/2016]

1. Check the transmission fluid level.

   Refer to ADJUSTMENT [10/2014 - 05/2019]

   OK

   Automatic transmission fluid level is correct.

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR (ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] 

Result: 

NG 

ADJUST FLUID LEVEL. Refer to  ADJUSTMENT [10/2014 - 05/2019]
