| ECT (Engine coolant temperature) | 20°C (68°F) or higher |
| ECT (Engine coolant temperature) sensor circuit fail (P0117, P0118) | Not detected |
| Time after park/neutral position switch ON to OFF | 2 sec. or more |
| 2. All of the following conditions are met | - |
| Either of the following conditions is met | Conditions (a) or (b) |
| (a) ECT (Engine coolant temperature) | Below 20°C (68°F) |
| (b) ECT (Engine coolant temperature) sensor circuit fail (P0117, P0118) | Detected |
| Time after park/neutral position switch ON to OFF | 30 sec. or more |
