Removal [09/2017 - ]: Procedure

1. Remove the bolt, nut and fuel pump protector from the bracket and cylinder head sub-assembly.

1. Remove the bolt and bracket from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

2. Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the stud bolt from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

1. Disconnect the fuel tube sub-assembly from the fuel pump assembly.

   Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - 05/2019] , or refer to PRECAUTION [05/2019 - ]

1. Using a 17 mm union nut wrench, loosen the 2 union nuts of the No. 1 fuel pipe sub-assembly.

2. Loosen the 2 bolts of the fuel pump assembly.

3. Remove the No. 1 fuel pipe sub-assembly.

1. Disconnect the connector from the fuel pump assembly.

2. Remove the 2 bolts and fuel pump assembly.

3. Remove the fuel pump lifter assembly and fuel pump lifter guide from the fuel pump assembly.
4. Remove the O-ring from the fuel pump assembly.
5. Remove the gasket from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
6. Remove the 2 O-rings from the pump housing of the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
