Removal [05/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [05/2019 - ]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
  3. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2014 - ]

  4. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2014 - ]

  5. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2014 - ]

  6. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the crank position sensor connector and detach the 2 clamps.

    2. Remove the terminal cap.
    3. Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from terminal B.
    4. Disconnect the generator connector and wire harness.
    5. Remove the 2 bolts and generator assembly.

    6. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 wire harness clamp brackets.
