Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT FRAME ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2016 - 10/2017] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2017 - 09/2020] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2020 - ]

  2. REMOVE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY 
    NOTE:
    • Do not damage the installation surface when removing the front differential carrier assembly.
    • The remaining oil may leak out when removing the front differential carrier assembly.
    • Securely support the front differential carrier assembly while performing this step to avoid excessively tilting or dropping the front differential carrier assembly.
    • Remove the bolts with the front differential carrier assembly secured.
    1. Support the front differential carrier assembly with a jack.

      WARNING:

      The front differential carrier assembly is a heavy component. Make sure that it is supported securely.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and front differential carrier assembly from the engine assembly.
