Inspection [04/2013 - 08/2015]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT TIRES 
    1. Inspect the tires for wear and proper inflation pressure.

      Cold Tire Inflation Pressure

      205/55R16 91W 250 kPa (2.5 kgf/cm2 , 36 psi)
      225/45R17 91W
      225/45R17 91V
      225/40R18 88Y 255/35R18 90Y

    2. Using a dial indicator, check the runout of the tires.

      Maximum Tire Runout

      1.0 mm (0.0394 in.)

  2. ROTATE TIRES

      Front

      Except 18 Inch Wheel

      1. Rotate the tires as shown in the illustration.

        Axle hub nut 

        Torque: 103 N*m (1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf) 

    2. For 18 Inch Wheel

      HINT: 

      Tire rotation cannot be performed on this vehicle.

  3. INSPECT AND ADJUST WHEEL BALANCE 
    1. Inspect and adjust the off-the-car balance.

      *A For 16 Inch Wheel
      *B Except 16 Inch Wheel
      *a 25 mm (0.984 in.)

      Maximum Imbalance

      8.0 g (0.0176 lb)

      NOTE:
      • Use a cleaning detergent to remove dirt, oil and water from the surface where the balance weight is to be adhered.
      • Do not touch the adhesive surface of the balance weight.
      • Adhere a stick-on type balance weight to the flat surface*a shown in the illustration.
      • Push the balance weight with your finger to securely adhere it to the desired position.
      • Do not reuse balance weights.

      HINT: 

      • For 16 inch wheel: Use clip-on type balance weights for the inner side, and stick-on type balance weights for the outer side.
      • Except 16 inch wheel: Use stick-on type balance weights for both the inner and outer side.
  4. INSPECT FRONT AXLE HUB BEARING 

    Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [04/2013 - 08/2015]

  5. INSPECT REAR AXLE HUB BEARING 

    Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [04/2013 - 09/2020]
