Installation [04/2013 - 08/2015]: Procedure

1. Temporarily tighten the lower No. 2 arm bracket sub-assembly to the front lower suspension arm assembly with the nut and washer.

1. Install the front lower suspension arm assembly and strut bar bracket reinforcement with the 4 bolts.

   Bolt (A) 

   Torque: 151 N.m (1540 kgf/cm, 111 ft.lbf) 

   Bolt (B) 

   Torque: 86 N.m (877 kgf/cm, 63 ft.lbf) 

   Bolt (C) 

   Torque: 57 N.m (581 kgf/cm, 42 ft.lbf) 

2. Insert the front No. 1 suspension camber adjust cam from the front of the vehicle. Then install the front No. 2 suspension camber adjust cam and temporarily tighten the nut.
   NOTE:

   Align the matchmarks before installation.

   HINT: 

   Fully tighten the nut after stabilizing the suspension.

   Matchmark

1. Connect the front lower ball joint assembly to the steering knuckle with the 2 bolts.

   Torque: 120 N.m (1224 kgf/cm, 89 ft.lbf) 

2. Remove the nut and separate the steering knuckle from the front upper suspension arm assembly.

1. Install the front stabilizer link assembly to the front stabilizer bar and front lower suspension arm assembly with the 2 nuts.

   Torque: 84 N.m (857 kgf/cm, 62 ft.lbf) 

   HINT: 

   If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud bolt.

Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [04/2013 - 06/2014] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [06/2014 - 08/2015]

1. Fully tighten the nut on the front of the front lower suspension arm assembly.

   Torque: 119 N.m (1213 kgf/cm, 88 ft.lbf)

   NOTE:

   Align the matchmarks before installation.

2. Fully tighten the installation nut of the lower No. 2 arm bracket sub-assembly

   Torque: 113 N.m (1152 kgf/cm, 83 ft.lbf) 

for 4GR-FSE: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 103

for 2GR-FSE: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 104

Torque: 103 N.m (1050 kgf/cm, 76 ft.lbf)
