Installation [04/2013 - 08/2015]: Procedure
- TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN LOWER NO. 2 ARM BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Temporarily tighten the lower No. 2 arm bracket sub-assembly to the front lower suspension arm assembly with the nut and washer.
- INSTALL FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT ASSEMBLY
See step 1
- TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY
- Install the front lower suspension arm assembly and strut bar bracket reinforcement with the 4 bolts.
Bolt (A)
Torque: 151 N.m (1540 kgf/cm, 111 ft.lbf)
Bolt (B)
Torque: 86 N.m (877 kgf/cm, 63 ft.lbf)
Bolt (C)
Torque: 57 N.m (581 kgf/cm, 42 ft.lbf)
- Insert the front No. 1 suspension camber adjust cam from the front of the vehicle. Then install the front No. 2 suspension camber adjust cam and temporarily tighten the nut.NOTE:
Align the matchmarks before installation.
HINT:
Fully tighten the nut after stabilizing the suspension.

- Install the front lower suspension arm assembly and strut bar bracket reinforcement with the 4 bolts.
- CONNECT FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT ASSEMBLY
- Connect the front lower ball joint assembly to the steering knuckle with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 120 N.m (1224 kgf/cm, 89 ft.lbf)
- Remove the nut and separate the steering knuckle from the front upper suspension arm assembly.
- Connect the front lower ball joint assembly to the steering knuckle with the 2 bolts.
- INSTALL FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY
- Install the front stabilizer link assembly to the front stabilizer bar and front lower suspension arm assembly with the 2 nuts.
Torque: 84 N.m (857 kgf/cm, 62 ft.lbf)
HINT:
If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon wrench to hold the stud bolt.
- Install the front stabilizer link assembly to the front stabilizer bar and front lower suspension arm assembly with the 2 nuts.
- TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN FRONT SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING

- FULLY TIGHTEN FRONT LOWER SUSPENSION ARM ASSEMBLY
- INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER
for 4GR-FSE: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 103
for 2GR-FSE: Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 104
- INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
Torque: 103 N.m (1050 kgf/cm, 76 ft.lbf)
- INSPECT AND ADJUST FRONT WHEEL ALIGNMENT
