Removal [06/2014 - 08/2015]: Procedure

1. Remove the 4 bolts and separate the front speed sensor from the front shock absorber with coil spring, steering knuckle and body.
   NOTE:

   • Be careful not to deform the bracket of the front shock absorber with coil spring when removing the bolt.
   • Prevent foreign matter from contacting the sensor tip.
   • Clean the front speed sensor installation hole and the contact surfaces every time the front speed sensor is removed.

1. Support the front lower suspension arm assembly using a jack and wooden block.

2. Remove the nut and front upper shock absorber bracket plate.

3. Loosen the lock nut.

   NOTE:

   • Do not remove the lock nut.
   • Loosen the lock nut only when the front shock absorber with coil spring needs to be disassembled.
4. Remove the 3 nuts from the front shock absorber with coil spring (upper side).

5. Remove the front No. 3 spring support reinforcement.
6. Slowly lower the jack and remove the front shock absorber with coil spring.

1. Secure SST in a vise.

2. Attach the arms of SST to the diameter of the front coil spring.

   WARNING:

   • Make sure that the front coil spring is installed so that the distance between the upper and lower arms of SST is at the maximum.
   • Make sure that the claws of the arms are securely attached.
3. Using SST, compress the front coil spring.
   WARNING:

   • If the front coil spring bends during compression, immediately stop compression and reinstall SST.
   • Do not excessively compress the front coil spring so that the coils contact each other.
   • Do not use an impact wrench. It will damage SST.
4. Confirm that the front coil spring becomes free and remove the lock nut.
   WARNING:

   Do not remove the lock nut when the front coil spring is not free.

5. w/ AVS:
   1. Remove the front actuator support bracket from the front shock absorber assembly.
6. Remove the front suspension support assembly from the front shock absorber assembly.
   NOTE:

   Turn the front suspension support assembly to disengage the end of the front upper coil spring insulator from the front shock absorber assembly claws.

7. Remove the front upper coil spring insulator from the front suspension support assembly.
8. Remove the front spring bumper from the front suspension support assembly.
9. Remove the front coil spring and SST.
   NOTE:

   Do not use an impact wrench. It will damage SST.

10. Remove the front lower coil spring insulator from the front shock absorber assembly.

1. Secure the front lower shock absorber bracket in a vise using aluminum plates.
   NOTE:

   Do not overtighten the vise.

2. Remove the bolt and front lower shock absorber bracket from the front shock absorber assembly.
