Removal [04/2013 - 08/2015]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [04/2013 - 08/2015]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [04/2013 - 06/2014] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [06/2014 - 08/2015]

  3. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  4. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  5. REMOVE SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  6. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  7. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  8. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  9. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (for Fixed Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10

  10. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (for Fold Down Seat Type) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  11. SEPARATE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  12. REMOVE ABSORBER CONTROL ACTUATOR 
    1. Turn back the luggage compartment trim cover until the absorber control actuator can be seen.
    2. Disconnect the connector.

      *a 40°
    3. Turn the absorber control actuator counterclockwise 40° to remove it from the rear actuator support bracket.
      NOTE:
      • Do not turn the absorber control actuator more than 40°.
      • Do not drop the absorber control actuator. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.
