Removal [10/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    See step  1 [08/2015 - 09/2020], or see step  1 [09/2020 - 11/2021], or see step  1 [11/2021 - 09/2022], or see step  1 [09/2022 - ]

  2. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [10/2016 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [09/2020 - ]

  3. REMOVE TEMPERATURE SENSOR 
    1. Disconnect the temperature sensor connector.

    2. Using a 19 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, remove the temperature sensor from the stiffening crankcase assembly.
    3. Remove the gasket from the temperature sensor.
