Installation [08/2015 - 10/2016]: Procedure

- INSTALL TEMPERATURE SENSOR
- Install a new gasket to the temperature sensor.
- Using a 19 mm ball joint lock nut wrench, install the temperature sensor to the stiffening crankcase assembly.
*a Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length Torque
Specified tightening torque
19.6 N.m (200 kgf/cm, 14 ft.lbf)
NOTE:If a temperature sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
HINT:
- Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - 10/2016]
- When using a ball joint lock nut wrench (fulcrum length of 150 mm (5.91 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.38 in.)): 10.2 N.m (104 kgf/cm, 8 ft.lbf)
- Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
- Connect the temperature sensor connector.
- ADD ENGINE OIL
