Installation [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT 
    1. Install the 2 lower radiator supports to the radiator assembly.
  2. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION 
    1. Install the 2 radiator support cushions to the radiator assembly.
  3. INSTALL RADIATOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the radiator assembly to the vehicle body.
      NOTE:

      Do not apply excessive force to the cooler condenser assembly, radiator assembly (for intercooler) or pipe when installing the radiator assembly.

    2. Engage the 2 guides.
    3. Engage the 2 claws to install the radiator assembly (for intercooler) and cooler condenser assembly to the radiator assembly.
      NOTE:

      Make sure not to damage the cooler condenser assembly or radiator assembly (for intercooler) when installing the radiator assembly.

  4. INSTALL FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 3 guides.
    2. Engage the 3 claws to install the fan shroud assembly to the radiator assembly.
      NOTE:

      Make sure not to damage the radiator assembly when installing the fan shroud assembly.

  5. INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the upper radiator support sub-assembly with the 5 bolts.

      Torque: 15 N.m (153 kgf/cm, 11 ft.lbf) 

    2. Engage the 6 clamps to connect the wire harness to the upper radiator support sub-assembly.
    3. Connect the 2 horn connectors.
  6. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly to the fan shroud assembly with the bolt.

      Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf/cm, 44 in.lbf) 

    2. Install a new radiator hose clamp to the fan shroud assembly.
    3. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly to the radiator hose clamp.
    4. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose sub-assembly to the radiator assembly and slide the clip to secure it.
  7. INSTALL RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the radiator hose sub-assembly to the radiator assembly and water inlet and slide the 2 clips to secure it.
  8. INSTALL RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 2 claws to install the radiator reserve tank assembly to the fan shroud assembly.
    2. Engage the 2 clamps to connect the reserve tank outlet hose to the fan shroud assembly.
    3. Connect the reserve tank outlet hose to the radiator reserve tank assembly and slide the clip to secure it.
    4. Engage the clamp to connect the radiator reserve tank hose to the fan shroud assembly.
    5. Connect the radiator reserve tank hose to the radiator assembly and slide the clip to secure it.
  9. CONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE 
    1. Engage the 4 clamps to connect the engine room main wire to the upper radiator support sub-assembly.
    2. Connect the connector.
    3. Connect the cooling fan ECU connector.
    4. Engage the clamp.
  10. INSTALL ENGINE ROOM ECU OUTLET DUCT 
    1. Install the engine room ECU outlet duct to the fan shroud assembly and engine room ECU box.
  11. CONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 2 clamps to connect the hood lock control cable assembly to the upper radiator support sub-assembly.
  12. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [04/2013 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [10/2016 - 09/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [09/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [09/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [11/2021 - ]

  13. INSTALL HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [04/2013 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [10/2016 - 09/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [09/2019 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [09/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [11/2021 - ]

  14. INSTALL INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 80 [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 79 [10/2016 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 79 [09/2020 - ]

  15. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  3

  16. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  17. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 79 [08/2015 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 78 [10/2016 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 78 [09/2020 - ]

  18. INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [04/2013 - 10/2016] , or refer to INSTALLATION [10/2016 - 09/2020] , or refer to INSTALLATION [09/2020 - ]

  19. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3 [04/2013 - 10/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2016 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [09/2020 - ]
