Removal [04/2013 - 08/2015]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [04/2013 - 08/2015]

  2. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and disconnect the wire harness from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the ignition coil cover bracket from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.

    3. Disconnect the 6 ignition coil assembly connectors.
    4. Remove the 6 bolts and 6 ignition coil assemblies from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      If an ignition coil assembly has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.

  3. REMOVE SPARK PLUG 
    1. Remove the 6 spark plugs from the cylinder head assembly.
      NOTE:

      If a spark plug has been struck or dropped, replace it.

      HINT: 

      Arrange the removed parts in the correct order.
