DTC B1323: Lost Communication with Haptic Device; DTC B1324: Lost Communication with Meter; DTC B1326: Lost Communication with Clock Device (Local-CAN) [09/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC 
    1. Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes

  2. CHECK LOCAL BUS 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the K169 No. 15 CAN junction connector.
    3. Connect the K173 radio receiver assembly connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

    3. Connect the K4 combination meter assembly connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Connect the K167 clock assembly connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      K169-4 - K169-15 Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 200 Ω or higher

    2. Disconnect the K167 clock assembly connector.
    3. Connect the K169 No. 15 CAN junction connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  8. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REMOTE TOUCH (REMOTE OPERATION CONTROLLER ASSEMBLY) - NO. 15 CAN JUNCTION CONNECTOR) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the K180 remote touch (remote operation controller assembly) connector.
    3. Connect the K169 No. 15 CAN junction connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K180-9 (MO+) - K180-8 (MO-) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω

  9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY - NO. 15 CAN JUNCTION CONNECTOR) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the K4 combination meter assembly connector.
    3. Connect the K169 No. 15 CAN junction connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K4-10 (MSCH) - K4-9 (MSCL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

  10. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 15 CAN JUNCTION CONNECTOR) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the K173 radio receiver assembly connector.
    3. Connect the K169 No. 15 CAN junction connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K173-5 (CNH1) - K173-6 (CNL1) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω

  11. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 15 CAN JUNCTION CONNECTOR) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the K173 radio receiver assembly connector.
    3. Connect the K169 No. 15 CAN junction connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K173-5 (CNH1) - K173-6 (CNL1) Cable disconnected from negative (-) battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω

    3. Connect the K173 radio receiver assembly connector.
    4. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  13. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REMOTE TOUCH (REMOTE OPERATION CONTROLLER ASSEMBLY) POWER SOURCE) 
    1. Disconnect the K180 remote touch (remote operation controller assembly) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K180-10 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K180-1 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      K180-6 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V

    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      K3-22 (B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
      K3-21 (IG+) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V
