DTC B1850/62: Short in Rear Side Squib RH Circuit; DTC B1851/62: Open in Rear Side Squib RH Circuit; DTC B1852/62: Short to GND in Rear Side Squib RH Circuit; DTC B1853/62: Short to B+ in Rear Side Squib RH Circuit (03/2012 - 07/2012): Description

The rear side squib RH circuit consists of the center airbag sensor assembly and rear seat side airbag assembly RH.

This circuit instructs the SRS to deploy when deployment conditions are met.

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction is detected in the rear side squib RH circuit.

  • The center airbag sensor assembly receives a line short circuit signal in the rear side squib RH circuit during the primary check.

  • The center airbag sensor assembly receives an open circuit signal in the rear side squib RH circuit.

  • The center airbag sensor assembly receives a short circuit to ground signal in the rear side squib RH circuit.
