DTC C1914: DC / DC Converter Overload: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (DC/DC STATUS) 
    1. In order for the converter to cool down, turn the power switch OFF and wait 30 minutes or more.
    2. While waiting, check if there are factors that may be causing high temperatures around the power steering converter, and take measures to eliminate those factors.
    3. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    4. Turn the power switch ON (READY) and the Techstream on.
    5. Follow the Techstream screen display and display the rear active stabilizer Data List screen. Select the "DC/DC STATUS" or "DC/DC Status" item and check the output condition of terminal WDD3.
      REAR STABILIZER

      30 ms 15 ms: DTC C1914 is output
      22 ms: DTC C1915 and/or C1920 is output
      24 ms: DTC C1914 is output
      RESULT

      Result Proceed to
      For 30 minutes or more, 15 ms or 24 ms is displayed A
      Within 30 minutes, display changes to 30 ms B

    B → RETURNS TO NORMAL OPERATION (SYSTEM RETURNS TO NORMAL DUE TO RETURN OF POWER STEERING CONVERTER TO NORMAL TEMPERATURE)

  2. REPLACE REAR ACTIVE STABILIZER CONTROL ECU. Refer to  REMOVAL
