- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check the DTC. Refer to DTC CHECK/CLEAR

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (COOLANT TEMPERATURE RECEIVER GAUGE)
- Operate the Techstream according to the display and select "Active Test".

Needle indication is normal.
COMBINATION METER:Tester Display Test Part Control Range Water Temperature Meter Operation Engine coolant temperature receiver gauge Low/Normal/High HINT:
Confirm that the vehicle is stopped and engine is idling.

Coolant temperature displayed on Techstream is between 80°C (176°F) and 95°C (203°F) after warming up.

- If value -40 (-40): sensor circuit open
- If value 140 (284): sensor circuit shorted
