DTC C13AD/23: Open in +B Circuit: Procedure
- INSPECT FUSE (E-PKB)
- Remove the E-PKB fuse from the luggage room junction block.
- Measure the resistance of the fuse.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition E-PKB fuse Always Below 1 Ω RESULTResult Proceed to NG A OK B

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECU - BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the S46 ECU connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition S46-8 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → CHECK FOR SHORTS IN ALL HARNESSES AND CONNECTORS CONNECTED TO FUSE AND REPLACE FUSE
OK → REPLACE FUSE
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECU - BATTERY)
- Disconnect the S46 ECU connector.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition S46-8 (+B) - Body ground Always 11 to 14 V
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE ECU (DATA LIST)
- Turn the engine switch off.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG) and the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / Electric Parking Brake / Data List.
- Check the values by referring to the table below.ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE

- REPLACE ELECTRIC PARKING BRAKE ECU. Refer to REMOVAL
