REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER (for Power Seat): Inspection: Inspection

  1. INSPECT REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH

    1. Check the rear wing outer heater LH.
      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 17 to 23°C
        (63 to 73°F)
        15.4 to 18.9 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat cushion cover.

    2. Check the rear wing inner heater LH.

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 17 to 23°C
        (63 to 73°F)
        15.4 to 18.9 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat cushion cover.

    3. Check the rear seat cushion heater LH.

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A1 - A3 17 to 23°C
        (63 to 73°F)
        4.8 to 5.9 Ω
        A1 - B2
        A1 - C2
        Always Below 1 Ω
        A3 - B1
        A3 - C1
        Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat cushion cover.

  2. INSPECT REAR SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Check the rear wing outer heater RH.

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 15.4 to 18.9 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat cushion cover.

    2. Check the rear wing inner heater RH.

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        1 - 2 20°C (68°F) 15.4 to 18.9 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat cushion cover.

    3. Check the rear seat cushion heater RH.

      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard resistance

        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        A1 - A3 17 to 23°C
        (63 to 73°F)
        4.8 to 5.9 Ω
        A1 - B2
        A1 - C2
        Always Below 1 Ω
        A3 - B1
        A3 - C1
        Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the rear seat cushion cover.
