Instrument Panel Safety Pad: Installation: Installation

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart. Refer to SPECIFIED TORQUE FOR STANDARD BOLTS .

INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL STAY
1. Attach the 5 claws to install the 5 No. 3 instrument panel stays.

INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY
1. Attach the 5 claws to install the instrument panel safety pad.
2. Install the 5 bolts and nut.
3. Install the 2 passenger airbag bolts.
  Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)

4. Connect each connector and each clamp.

1. Connect each connector and clamp.
2. Install the glove compartment door with the 5 screws.

1. Attach the 5 clips to install the No. 2 instrument cluster molding.

1. Attach the 6 clips to install the instrument side panel.

1. Connect each connector.
2. Attach the 5 clips and claw to install the No. 1 instrument panel safety pad.
3. Install the 2 screws.
4. Attach the claw to install the hole cover.

1. Connect each connector and clamp.
2. Attach the 2 claws to install the No. 1 instrument panel under cover.
3. Install the 2 screws.

1. Attach the 6 clips to install the instrument side panel.

1. Connect each connector.
2. Install the combination meter with the 4 screws.

1. Connect each connector.
2. Attach the 2 clips to install the finish panel.
3. Install the 2 clips.
INSTALL HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY
1. Install the headlight dimmer switch assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION .
INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
1. w/o Rear Seat Entertainment System:
  Install the console box assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION .
2. w/ Rear Seat Entertainment System:
  Install the console box assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION .
CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTE:
- Reset the AUTO TILT AWAY function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter. Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS .
- When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER RH . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 11
CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT
1. Check the SRS warning light. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM .
