Combination Meter: Removal: Removal
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL WARNING:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
- REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Manual Tilt and Manual Telescopic Steering Column) . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 1
- REMOVE STEERING COLUMN COVER (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column) . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 2
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (w/o Illumination) . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 52
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH (w/ Illumination) . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 54
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 29
- REMOVE SIDE INSTRUMENT PANEL LH . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 30
- REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 32
- REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Disengage the 2 clips.
- Remove the 2 screws and remove the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly.
- REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY . Refer to REMOVAL - Step 3
- REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
- Attach protective tape to the position indicated in the illustration.
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw, pull out the combination meter assembly.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Disconnect the connectors and remove the combination meter assembly as shown in the illustration.
NOTE:
Do not damage the instrument panel safety pad or combination meter assembly when removing the combination meter assembly.
- REMOVE COMBINATION METER GLASS
- Disengage the 9 claws and remove the combination meter glass.
