Hybrid System Indicator Malfunction: Procedure
- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Check for the DTC. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM

Result Proceed to CAN communication DTC is not output and EV drive mode indicator light has a malfunction. A CAN communication DTC is output. B

- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (HV SYSTEM INDICATOR)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical/Combination Meter/Active Test.
- Check the indicator light operation according to the values in the table below.COMBINATION METER
Tester Display Test Part Control Range Diagnostic Note HV System Indicator HV System Indicator MIN, -50, 0, 100, 200, 300, 400, MAX Confirm that the vehicle is stopped, power switch on (READY) OK
Hybrid system indicator indication is normal.

- READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (HYBRID SYSTEM INDICATOR)
- Connect Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical/Combination Meter/Active Test.
- Check the indicator light operation according to the values in the table below.COMBINATION METER

Hybrid system indicator value displayed on the Techstream is almost the same as hybrid system indicator indication.

- REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
- Replace the combination meter assembly with a new or a known good one. Refer to REMOVAL

- REPLACE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU. Refer to REMOVAL
