Entire Combination Meter does not Operate: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the F4 connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F4-9 (E2) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      F4-33 (EP) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F4-21 (IG2) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      F4-22 (B) - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V

      *1 Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Combination Meter Assembly)

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK → See step   2 

  2. REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL
