TC and CG Terminal Circuit: Procedure

  1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TC OF DLC3 - TC OF POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU) 
    1. Turn the power switch off.

    2. Disconnect the connector from the power management control ECU.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H44-13 (TC) - H3-11 (TC) Always Below 1 Ω
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *1 DLC3
      *a Front view of wire harness connector
      (to Power Management Control ECU)

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (CG OF DLC3 - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H44-4 (CG) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *1 DLC3

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (TC OF DLC3 - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H44-13 (TC) - Body ground Always 1 MΩ or higher
      TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

      *1 DLC3

    NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE WIRE HARNESS OR REPLACE EACH ECU 

    OK → See step   4 

  4. REPLACE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL
