1. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC B1000/31 is output	A
   DTC B1000/31 and other DTCs are output	B

   NOTE:

   If only DTC B1000/31 is output, do not clear the DTCs, replace the airbag sensor assembly.

   HINT: 

   If any DTCs other than DTC B1000/31 are also output, troubleshoot those DTCs first.
