  1. OUTLINE OF COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

    1. Meter or Gauge
      Item Detail
      Speedometer Indicates the vehicle speed based on a signal received from the skid control ECU via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      Tachometer Indicates the engine speed based on a signal received from the ECM via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      Fuel Receiver Gauge Indicates the fuel level based on a signal received from the fuel sender gauge assembly via the direct line.
      Engine Coolant Temperature Receiver Gauge Indicates the engine coolant temperature based on a signal received from the ECM via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
    2. Warning or Indicator
      Item Detail
      Beam Receives a beam indicator light signal from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      Turn Receives a turn signal from the turn signal flasher via the direct line.
      Fuel Receives a fuel signal from the fuel sender gauge via the direct line.
      Brake Receives a brake signal from the brake fluid level warning switch via the direct line, the skid control ECU, and main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      SRS Receives an SRS signal from the center airbag sensor assembly via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      Open door Receives a door condition signal from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      Charge Receives a charge indicator light signal from the generator via the direct line.
      MIL (Check engine warning light) Receives a MIL (check engine warning light) signal from the ECM via the direct line.
      Driver side seat belt Receives a driver side seat belt signal from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      ABS Receives an ABS signal from the skid control ECU via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      EPS Receives an EPS signal from the power steering ECU via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      Automatic high beam*1 Receives an automatic high beam signal from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      Head*2 Receives a head signal from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      Tail*3 Receives a tail signal from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      AWD lock*4 Receives an AWD signal from the AWD control ECU via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      VSC OFF Receives a VSC OFF signal from the skid control ECU via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      ECO Receives an ECO driving signal from the ECM via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      ECT snow Receives an ECT snow signal from the ECM via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      PCS*5 Receives a PCS signal from the driving support ECU assembly via the CAN (CAN No. 2 Bus).
      Cruise main*6 Receives an cruise main (constant speed control mode or vehicle-to-vehicle distance control mode) signal from the driving support ECU assembly via the CAN (CAN No. 2 Bus).
      Tire pressure*7 Receives a tire pressure signal from the tire pressure warning ECU via the direct line.
      Slip Receives a slip signal from the skid control ECU via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      Cruise main Receives a cruise main signal from the ECM via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      A/T shift Receives an A/T shift condition signal from the park/neutral position switch (direct line)*7 and the ECM via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).
      Clearance sonar*8 Receives a clearance sonar signal from the clearance warning ECU via the CAN (CAN No. 2 Bus).
      AFS OFF*9 Receives a AFS OFF signal from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the CAN (CAN No. 2 Bus).
      Master warning Comes on when the reminder message or warning message appears on the multi-information display.
      Front passenger side seat belt warning Receives a front passenger side seat belt signal from the center airbag sensor assembly via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus) or the front seat inner belt assembly RH via the direct line*10 and send the front passenger side seat belt warning signal to the accessory meter assembly*11 or the radio receiver assembly*12 via the direct line.
      Front fog Receives a front fog signal from the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) via the CAN (CAN No. 1 Bus).

  2. MULTI-INFORMATION DISPLAY 
    Item Detail
    Cruise information display Average fuel consumption after refueling Five types of information (average fuel consumption after refueling, average fuel consumption, average vehicle speed, current fuel consumption, and driving range) can be displayed.

    ECO driving indicator zone display
    • In addition to the cruise information display, the combination meter assembly indicates the ECO driving indicator zone display.
      1. The ECO driving indicator zone display will be displayed when all of the following conditions are met:
        1. Engine switch is on (IG).
        2. Shift lever is in D.
        3. Snow mode is not selected.
      2. The multi-information display is used to display the ECO driving indicator zone display. When the vehicle is driven with the ECO driving indicator zone display bar in the recommended range, the ECO driving indicator light comes on to inform the driver that the vehicle is being driven in a manner that helps to achieve low fuel consumption.
      3. The ECO driving indicator zone display shows the current accelerator opening angle as a bar moving inside a box. The box on the left represents the recommended accelerator angle range for economical driving. The ECM transmits and calculates the recommended accelerator opening angle range based on an accelerator opening angle.
      4. When the accelerator opening angle exceeds the recommended range, the meter CPU blinks the right side of the ECO driving indicator zone display to inform the driver that the vehicle is not being driven economically.
      5. In addition, when the following condition is met, the meter CPU turns off the ECO driving indicator light and the ECO driving indicator zone display:
        1. The shift lever is in any position other than D.
    Multi-information display Each system warning Interrupts the multi-information display immediately when a warning occurs.
    Electronic features control mode display Displays the each system setting display.
    Customization display Displays the customized setting of each item.
    Illumination control Displays the current illumination level and adjust the combination meter assembly brightness.

    HINT: 

    The timing of the ECO driving indicator light turning on and off may differ from the indication of the ECO driving indicator zone display, as their update cycles are different.

      Display Shifting Condition

      No. Display Shifting Condition
      *a Display cycles between messages.
      *b Conditions are not met and all new message have been displayed.
      *c Mode has completed or reset mode is interrupted.
      *d If the engine switch turned to off, then on (IG) during the opening, then the opening display will be shown from the beginning.
      *e If the engine switch turned to off, then on (IG) while the message is displayed, the message that is interrupted will be displayed first.
      *f Conditions are met and vehicle speed is less than 8 km/h (5 mph).
      *g Conditions for displaying new messages other than the door open warning are met, or the vehicle speed is more than 8 km/h (5 mph).
      *h Mode has completed and conditions for dynamic radar cruise display are met.
      *i Up or down switch is not operated more than 6 seconds.
      *j The advisory display will be shown as the last of the normal displays.
  4. HEADUP DISPLAY

    Vehicle speed display Receives a vehicle speed from the combination meter assembly via the direct line.
    Navigation system display Receives a navigation system signal from the display and navigation module display via the AVC-LAN.
    Audio and visual system display Receives an audio and visual system signal from the display and navigation module display via the AVC-LAN.
    Dynamic radar cruise control system display*1 Receives an dynamic radar cruise control signal from the combination meter assembly via the direct line.
    Precrash brake display*2 Receives a precrash brake signal from the combination meter assembly via the direct line.

  6. LED INITIAL CHECK 
    1. Check the illumination function of the warning or indicator lights listed below when turn the engine switch on (IG).

      OK

      Warning or Indicator Light Specified Condition
      Brake, ABS, Slip, VSC OFF, AWD lock*1, Automatic high beam*2, PCS*3, Tire pressure*4, AFS OFF*5, ECO*6, Master warning Warning or indicator light comes on for about 3 seconds after turning the engine switch on (IG).
      SRS Warning light comes on for about 6 seconds after turning the engine switch on (IG).
      Charge, MIL (Check engine), EPS Indicator or warning light comes on when turning the engine switch on (IG) before engine starts.
