Knob of Remote Touch Moves Spontaneously: Procedure
- CONFIRM SYMPTOMS
- Recheck the situation in which the malfunction occurs.
HINT:
- When the engine switch is turned on (ACC), the remote touch switch knob moves automatically to the center of the movable area.
- When driving on a rough road where the vehicle lurches or shakes around due to the bumps, the remote touch switch knob may move unexpectedly as a result.

- CHECK FOREIGN OBJECT
- Check if there are any foreign objects around the remote touch switch knob that interfere with knob operation.
OK
There are no foreign objects around the remote touch switch knob that interrupt its operation.
NG → REMOVE FOREIGN OBJECT (CHECK KNOB OPERATION AGAIN AFTER REMOVING OBJECT)
OK: Go to next step
- Check if there are any foreign objects around the remote touch switch knob that interfere with knob operation.
- REMOTE TOUCH SELF CHECK (CHECK DTC)
- Activate self check mode. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .
- Check DTC
- Move the remote touch switch knob to the lower left to check the switch illumination condition.
Result
Result Proceed to Switch illumination turns off. A Switch illumination blinks repeatedly. B

When the engine switch is on (ACC), feedback force is generated. When the engine switch is off, feedback force is not generated, and the remote touch switch knob will move freely.
