Vehicle Position Mark Deviates Greatly: Procedure

  1. CHECK GPS MARK 
    1. Check that the GPS mark is displayed.

      OK

      GPS mark is displayed.

    NG → See step   4 

    OK: Go to next step 

  2. CHECK VEHICLE SENSOR (OPERATION CHECK) 
    1. Enter the "Check GPS & Vehicle Sensors" (Vehicle Sensors). Refer to OPERATION CHECK .

    2. While driving the vehicle, compare the "Speed" indicator to the reading on the speedometer. Check that these readings are almost equal.

      OK

      The readings are almost equal.

    NG → See step   5 

    OK: Go to next step 

  3. CHECK VEHICLE SIGNAL (OPERATION CHECK) 
    1. Enter the "Check Vehicle Signal" (Vehicle Signal Check Mode). Refer to OPERATION CHECK .
    2. Check that the display changes between ON and OFF according to the shift lever operation.

      OK

      Shift Lever Position Display
      except R OFF
      R ON

      HINT: 

      The display is updated once per second. It is normal for the display to lag behind the actual switch operation.

  4. GO TO "GPS MARK IS NOT DISPLAYED" IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 
  5. CHECK DTC OUTPUT. Refer to  DTC CHECK / CLEAR 
  6. CHECK DTC OUTPUT. Refer to  DTC CHECK / CLEAR 
  7. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to  PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
