Pointer Displayed/not Displayed Repeatedly: Procedure

1. Recheck the situation when the malfunction occurs.

   HINT: 

   • When a user lays their hand on the switch knob, the pointer may be displayed and hidden repeatedly according to the switch knob movement
   • When driving on a rough road where the vehicle lurches or shakes around due to the bumps, the remote touch switch knob may move unexpectedly as a result.

   Result

   Symptom occurs in any situation.	A
   Symptom occurs when hand is rested on the switch knob while driving.	B
   Symptom occurs when driving on a rough road that causes the vehicle to lurch or shake around.

1. Check if there are any foreign objects around the remote touch switch knob that interfere with knob operation.

   OK

   There are no foreign objects around the remote touch switch knob that interfere with its operation.

NG → REMOVE FOREIGN OBJECT 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Activate self check mode. Refer to OPERATION CHECK .
2. Check DTC.

   1. Move the remote touch switch knob to the lower left and check the brightness of the switch illumination.
