HEADUP Display: Installation: Installation

  1. INSTALL COMBINATION METER MIRROR ECU 
    1. Install the combination meter mirror ECU with the 4 screws.

      NOTE:
      • Make sure that the ECU is installed securely.
      • Do not drop the screws.
    2. Engage the clamp.
    3. Connect the connector.
    4. Insert the No. 1 heater to register duct in the order indicated in the illustration to temporarily install it.

    5. Install the No. 1 heater to register duct with the 2 screws.

    6. Connect the connectors.

  2. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY  See step  1
  3. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL  See step  2
  4. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL HOLE COVER  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 34
  5. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL HOLE COVER  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 33
  6. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 39
  7. INSTALL NO. 1 SWITCH HOLE BASE  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 40
  8. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL GARNISH LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION - Step 41
  9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:
    • Make sure that the cable has been disconnected from the negative (-) battery terminal for at least 2 seconds before reconnecting the cable.
    • Reset the auto tilt away function setting to the previous condition by changing the customize parameter. Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS .
    • When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION .
