DTC C0-40: Antenna not Connected; DTC C0-41: Antenna Shorted: Procedure

1. Check that the satellite radio antenna cord is securely connected to the radio receiver assembly connector.

   OK

   The cord is securely connected.

NG → RECONNECT CONNECTOR CORRECTLY 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the satellite radio antenna and radio receiver assembly connectors.

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   1 - 1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   2 - 2	Always	Below 1 Ω
   1 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   2 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

OK: Go to next step 

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   1 - 2	Always	27.5 to 47.5 Ω

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the radio receiver assembly with a known good one and check if the same problem occurs again.
   1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
   2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

      OK

      Malfunction disappears.
