DTC C0-40: Antenna not Connected; DTC C0-41: Antenna Shorted: Procedure
- CHECK CONNECTOR CONNECTION CONDITION
- Check that the satellite radio antenna cord is securely connected to the radio receiver assembly connector.
OK
The cord is securely connected.
NG → RECONNECT CONNECTOR CORRECTLY
OK: Go to next step
- Check that the satellite radio antenna cord is securely connected to the radio receiver assembly connector.
- CHECK ANTENNA CORD
- Disconnect the satellite radio antenna and radio receiver assembly connectors.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

- INSPECT SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
- Replace the radio receiver assembly with a known good one and check if the same problem occurs again.
- Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .
- Recheck for DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.
OK
Malfunction disappears.

- REPAIR OR REPLACE ANTENNA CORD. Refer to REMOVAL
- REPLACE SATELLITE RADIO ANTENNA. Refer to REMOVAL
