Removal

SUSPENSION: REAR UPPER NO. 2 CONTROL ARM: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR WHEEL

2. SEPARATE REAR SHOCK ABSORBER WITH COIL SPRING Removal

3. REMOVE REAR UPPER NO. 2 CONTROL ARM

(a) Remove the nut on the axle carrier side.





(b) Using SST, separate the rear upper No. 2 control arm.

SST : 09628-00011





NOTICE:
* Securely tie the string of the SST to the vehicle.
* Do not damage the dust cover.
* Securely set the SST on the spacer of the axle carrier.
* If the spacer of the axle carrier comes off, replace the axle carrier with a new one.

(c) Remove the bolt, nut, washer, and rear upper No. 2 control arm.





HINT
Push the axle carrier downward.
