4GR-FSE ENGINE MECHANICAL: REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ENGINE REAR OIL SEAL

(a) Apply MP grease to the lip of a new oil seal.

NOTICE:
Keep the lip free of foreign matter.

(b) Using SST and a hammer, tap in the oil seal until its surface is flush with the rear oil seal retainer edge.

NOTICE:
* Wipe off extra grease of the crankshaft.
* Keep the lip free of foreign matter.
* Do not tap on the oil seal at an angle.

2. INSTALL FLYWHEEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission) Installation

3. INSTALL DRIVE PLATE AND RING GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Automatic Transmission) Installation

4. INSTALL MANUAL TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY (for Manual Transmission)
