Front Fog Light Circuit: Procedure

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (FRONT FOG LIGHT RELAY)

Using the Techstream, perform the Active Test. Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST .

MAIN BODY

Tester Display	Test Part	Control Range	Diagnostic Note
Front Fog Light Relay	Front fog light relay	ON/OFF	The headlight dimmer switch is in the tail position.

Front fog light relay operates (front fog lights comes on).

NG → See step 2

OK → See step 4

CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

Remove the driver side junction block with its connectors still connected. Refer to REMOVAL .

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
2F-9 - Body ground	Headlight dimmer switch in tail and front fog light switch on	11 to 14 V

OK → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - FOG LIGHT ASSEMBLY)

PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to REMOVAL
