Applicability

Introduction

Some 2010 - 2012 GX 460 vehicles may exhibit a cosmetic condition where the rear hatch hinges show signs of rust/corrosion. A new back door hinge assembly is available to address the condition.

Repair Procedure

1. Verify the condition.

2. Replace the 2 hinges and the 4 visible bolts that attach the hinges to the body of the vehicle.

3. Remove the back door glass. Refer to the Technical Information System (TIS), applicable model and model year Repair Manual:

2010 / 2011 / 2012 GX 460:

4. Adjust back door glass if needed. Refer to TIS, applicable model and model year Repair Manual:

5. Install the back door glass. Refer to TIS, applicable model and model year Repair Manual:
