APPLICABILITY:

INTRODUCTION:










Some vehicles may exhibit a condition where the top of the front seat back pocket becomes detached or has pulled away from the assembly. A new part with improved durability has been developed to address this condition.

This TSB applies to vehicles produced BEFORE the Production Change Effective VIN shown.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Remove the entire Front Seat Assembly.

Refer to TIS, applicable model and model year Repair Manual:

Refer to the Repair Manual within E-TAS / TIS library, applicable model year.

- 2010 / 2011 GX460:
Vehicle Interior - Seat - "Front Seat Assembly: Removal"

- 2010 / 2011 GX460:
Vehicle Interior - Seat - "Front Seat Assembly: Disassembly"

HINT
Remove the headrest and set the seat back straight up and in the middle position before removing.


2. Replace the front seatback board sub-assembly LH. (The procedure is the same for both the LH and RH side).






A. Detach the 2 hooks and disconnect the 2 rubber bands.






B. Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to detach the 2 claws.






C. Move the cover in the direction of the arrow to detach the 2 guides and remove the seatback board.

3. Reassemble the seat assembly using a NEW Front Seatback Board Sub-Assembly.

2010 / 2011 GX460:

4. Install front seat assembly.

2010 / 2011 GX460:
