EXTERIOR PANELS / TRIM: REAR BUMPER: DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE NO. 1 REAR BUMPER PLATE





(a) Put protective tape around the No. 1 rear bumper plate.

(b) Detach the 19 claws and remove the No. 1 rear bumper plate.

2. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER





(a) Detach the 5 pieces of double-sided tape and remove the rear bumper energy absorber from the rear bumper cover.

3. REMOVE REAR BUMPER CENTER BRACKET





(a) Remove the 2 outside moulding retainers and 2 retainers.

(b) Detach the 4 claws and remove the rear bumper center bracket.

4. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)





(a) Disconnect the 3 connectors.

(b) Detach the 6 clamps and remove the No. 5 floor wire.

5. REMOVE NO. 5 FLOOR WIRE (w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System)





(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.

(b) Detach the 4 clamps and remove the No. 5 floor wire.

6. REMOVE NO. 4 FLOOR WIRE (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

Use the same procedure described for the No. 5 floor wire.

7. REMOVE NO. 4 FLOOR WIRE (w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System)

8. REMOVE ULTRASONIC SENSOR CLIP (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

10. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

11. REMOVE NO. 2 ULTRASONIC SENSOR RETAINER (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System) Removal

12. REMOVE REAR BUMPER PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Detach the guide and remove the rear bumper protector.
