AUDIO / VIDEO: RADIO RECEIVER: REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:
* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.
2. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH Removal
3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH Removal
4. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
5. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
6. REMOVE FRONT UPPER CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH Removal
7. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET
(a) w/o Navigation System:
(1) Remove the 4 bolts.
(2) Pull the radio receiver to detach the 6 clips and rib on the backside of the radio receiver.
(3) Disconnect the connectors and remove the radio receiver.
(b) w/ Navigation System:
(1) Remove the 4 bolts.
(2) Pull the radio receiver to detach the 6 clips and 3 ribs on the backside of the radio receiver.
(3) Disconnect the connectors and remove the radio receiver.
8. REMOVE LOWER CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)
(a) Remove the 4 screws.
(b) Detach the 2 claws and remove the lower center instrument cluster finish panel.
9. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET
(a) Remove the 3 screws and bracket.
