DESCRIPTION

When the driving support ECU receives a windshield wiper switch signal, the driving support ECU cancels the lane departure alert system.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVING SUPPORT ECU - WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH)

(a) Disconnect the G43 driving support ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the G50 windshield wiper switch connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the windshield wiper switch with its connector still connected Removal.





(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
