DESCRIPTION

When the driving support ECU receives a turn signal light switch signal, the driving support ECU cancels the lane departure alert system.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the headlight dimmer switch assembly Removal.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVING SUPPORT ECU - HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH)

(a) Disconnect the G43 driving support ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the G31 headlight dimmer switch connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
