Removal





CELLULAR COMMUNICATION: TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORDS: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:
* w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the display and navigation module display (navigation system) records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Waiting Time before Disconnecting Cable from Negative (-) Battery Terminal:





* When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization.

2. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the roof headlining assembly Removal.

3. REMOVE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORDS (NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY)

(a) Detach the antenna cord from the 11 clamps and the 2 notches on the rear of the roof headlining.





(b) Remove the antenna cord from the roof headlining.

(c) Remove the double-sided tape from the roof headlining.

4. REMOVE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORDS (TELEPHONE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY)

(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the telephone antenna cord sub-assembly.
