B2085 - Communication Error from Driving Support ECU to VSC ECU

DESCRIPTION

The circuit consists of the driving support ECU, skid control ECU and seat belt control ECU. DTC B2085 is stored when the seat belt control ECU detects an interruption in CAN communication between the driving support ECU and skid control ECU.





INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK FOR DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)

(a) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.

(b) Check for DTCs Pre-Collision System.

OK:

CAN communication system DTCs are not output.

NG -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM Diagnosis System
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs Pre-Collision System.

(b) Check for DTCs Pre-Collision System.

OK:

DTC B2085 is not output.

NG -- REPLACE SEAT BELT CONTROL ECU Removal

OK -- USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK How To Proceed With Troubleshooting
