Rear Sunshade Shift-linked Function does not Operate when Shift Lever is Moved to R Position: Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (REVERSE SIGNAL CONTROL)
- Make sure that the rear sunshade lowers.
- Select the Active Test, use the Techstream to generate a control command, and then check that the rear sunshade can be lowered.

Rear sunshade can be lowered.
NG → See step 2
OK → GO TO ELECTRONIC CONTROLLED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION (ECT)
- CHECK WIRE HARNESS (NO. 1 JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - RELAY, BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

- Disconnect the V25 relay connector.
- Disconnect the LC junction block connector.
- Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition V25-2 (REV) - LC-27 (REV) Always Below 1 Ω V25-2 (REV) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
OK: Go to next step
- CHECK No. 1 JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the LC junction block connector.
- Measure the voltage of the junction block.
Standard voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition LC-27 (REV) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG), shift lever on P Below 1 V LC-27 (REV) - Body ground Engine switch on (IG), shift lever on R 10 to 14 V
NG → REPLACE No. 1 JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
OK → REPLACE REAR SUNSHADE RELAY
