DTC C1787: Forward/Rearward/Sideways G Sensor Communication Error (FROM 08/2009): Procedure

1. Check the CAN communication system for any malfunctions. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM .

   Result

   Condition	Proceed to
   CAN communication system is normal	A
   CAN communication system is malfunctioning	B

A: Go to next step 

1. Check if the VSC system outputs any DTC relevant to speed sensors. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR .

   Result

   Condition	Proceed to
   G sensor DTC or yaw rate and acceleration sensor DTC is output	A
   G sensor DTC or yaw rate and acceleration sensor DTC is not output	B
