DTC P3154-896: Transmission Oil Pump Motor Driver Temperature High: Procedure

1. Turn the power switch off.
2. Leave the vehicle for 6 hours.

   HINT: 

   Leaving the vehicle for 6 hours is required to cool the oil pump motor controller.

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
4. Read and record the DTCs and freeze frame data.
5. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
6. Clear DTCs and freeze frame data.

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Activate inspection mode. Refer to INSPECTION MODE PROCEDURE .
2. Wait for 30 minutes with the shift lever in P and the vehicle in inspection mode.

   HINT: 

   • 30 minutes is required to detect DTC P3154-896.
   • In addition to using in inspection mode, the DTC can also be detected by leaving the vehicle for 30 minutes with the power switch on (IG). In this case, however, be careful not to allow the auxiliary battery to discharge.
3. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
4. Check if DTCs are output.

   Result

   P3154-896 is not output.	A
   P3154-896 is output again.	B
